Singapore F1 Grand Prix Qualifying Results (night race) – Who are you Betting on?

Lewis Hamilton claims Pole Position.
The 27-year-old Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver was the fastest around Singapore’s Marina Bay circuit in qualifying for the F1 Singapore Grand Prix sport’s Lewis Hamilton on track and taking pole at the 2012 Grand Prix of Singapore race. He claimed pole position with an flying lap in Q3 of 1m 46.362s. The McLaren pit-wall radioed Hamilton: “Great lap, Lewis. You’re P1 and fastest in all three sectors!”

Pastor Maldonado with a time of 1m 46.804s snatched second place from Vettel and a front row start next to Hamilton.

Sebastian Vettel  of Red Bull will line up third on the grid with a time of 1m 47.694s.

Jenson Button qualified fourth and will complete the second row with a time of 1m 47.238s and Fernando Alonso qualified fifth for Ferrari and Di Resta of Force India starting sixth.

Mark Webber, Romain Grosjean, Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg complete the Q3 top 10 for the Singapore 2012 Grand Prix.Sebastian Vettel will be going into the Singapore Grand Prix as one of the firm favourites. This incredible Red Bull driver topped all three practice sessions this weekend – the first time he’s been able to do this since the Chinese Grand Prix last year. This said however it was Hamilton who dominated Q3.

The 2012 Singapore Grand Prix starts at 2.00 pm South African time on Sunday the 23rd September.
